about me

the path I’ve traveled

I became a therapist because I believe in therapy’s transformational power based on my own journey of self-discovery and growth. I’m passionate about supporting others, bring many decades of life experience, and know first-hand the courage it takes to reach out for help.

Previously, I had a career as a communications professional in the entertainment and technology industries. However, over time, I realized that there was something calling me to make a change. Inspired by of my love of yoga, I began to teach the practice, deepening my respect for the innate intelligence of the body and the interconnectedness of mind, body, heart, and spirit. This ultimately led me to my calling to become a psychotherapist and continues to inform my holistic approach to well-being.

education

I hold a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies where I studied East-West approaches to psychotherapy, and a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from UCLA.

I completed my graduate training at the Integral Counseling Center at Church Street, a community clinic located in San Francisco.
